7 Interesting Uses for your Aloe Plant

We all know that aloe is the best and maybe only cure for painful sunburn, but more recently we are realizing a whole slew of other health benefits and beauty product replacements in the Aloe Vera plant.

1. Makeup Remover: Dab a small amount of aloe onto a tissue or cotton ball as an all natural way to remove makeup at night.

2. Shaving Cream:  It’s antibacterial, which is great for nicks; it’s slippery, allowing for a nice close shave; and it moisturizes, too.

3. Treat Minor Burns: Burn yourself while cooking up a storm in the kitchen? Dab on some aloe for relief.

4. Aloe Vera Juice: Drinking Aloe has been all the rage lately. They say it could aid weight loss, digestion, immune function, and even ease general discomfort. \

5. Moisturizer: A great all natural moisturizer for your skin, sun-burnt or not.

6. Hair De-frizzer: Spread some into the roots of your hair for a quick de-frizz treatment.

7. Treat Acne: Combined with retinoid medicine aloe makes acne clear up significantly faster.

There are a TON more uses and the plant itself is low maintenance and nice too look at. SO go get yourself an aloe plant and replace some products!
