Beautiful Ways to use Vines in Interior Design

I am a strong believer in using houseplants to decorate your home, they add a natural and bright punch of color, they can be displayed in many different ways, they clean the air, and a million other awesome reasons. Here are some absolutely gorgeous ways people have used vines to decorate their homes.

As the Main Attraction: I love the Heart-Leaf Philodendron plant becasue its stupidly easy to take care of. But it also grows as a vine making it a great decorating tool. I love this version of intermingling the vine with other little art pieces to create a backdrop to your couch, what a great alternative to the typical painting. This vine does great with little light too, so it is perfect for bringing deeper into your home.

To Frame a Doorway: I have seen quite a few examples of framing your doorway in vines, almost like an indoor trellis.

Just Hanging Out: From atop a bookshelf or any piece of furniture, this is a low maintenance and ever evolving design aspect for your home.

From Above: Create a fairy-tale like effect by hanging vines from railing or high windowsills so that they hang down.

These make me a little jealous.... Just stunning.
